Michael Mackin
Founder + Managing Director
Michael is the driving force behind assemblyNOW. Following a decade-long career in retail and management, Mike developed a strong focus on customer service and problem solving to help deliver the best outcome possible in every scenario. This experience helped establish the core values of assemblyNOW and propelled the company’s rapid growth following its establishment in 2015. Mike’s commitment to going the extra mile ensures optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.
Michael’s leadership has been instrumental in positioning assemblyNOW as a leader in its field.
Beyond his professional life, Michael is an avid golfer and a devoted family man, balancing his entrepreneurial pursuits with his personal passions.
David Mackin
Founder + Senior Project Manager
David Mackin built over a decade of experience running a successful commercial glazing business. His expertise spans project management, business development, and customer service. As a Senior Project Manager at AssemblyNOW, Dave has led large-scale projects, showcasing his ability to coordinate complex operations and manage on-site teams effectively. Dave’s leadership skills and strategic thinking have been crucial in delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Outside of work, he is an avid trail bike enthusiast, often exploring the Victorian high country. This passion for outdoor adventure reflects his ability to tackle challenges head-on, both in his professional and personal life.


Damian Richards
General Manager
Damian has over 20 years experience in Change, Strategy , Sales, Customer Satisfaction and Operations Management. Damian has worked for some of Australia’s most iconic brands. Damian loves to deliver for his clients and help his teams be their best. At Assembly Now Damian is responsible for the day to day operations and Account Management.
In his spare time Damian is all about his two boys and learning about and sharing the joys of the Autism Spectrum to anyone who will listen. He also has a huge Biography and political cartoon collection – “I’m actually a fun guy!”

Luke Bolton
WA & SA Development Coordinator
With extensive experience spanning Supplier Operations and Project & Logistics Management with leading furniture retailers, as well as roles in civil construction and international touring, Luke Bolton brings a unique blend of strategic insight and hands-on expertise to his position as Western Australia Operations Manager at assemblyNOW. Leading a delivery and assembly business, Luke’s proven expertise in streamlining operations ensures seamless workflows, efficient service, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Outside of work, he is a recreational pilot who thrives on adventure, a terrible golf enthusiast, and a passionate musician who treasures time with his family.

Campbell Phillips
Marketing & IT Manager
Campbell’s background in freelance web design, videography and music coupled with over 20 years experience enables him to bring a fresh perspective to process improvement, problem solving and IT systems development.
In addition to his work at assemblyNOW, Campbell is the Founder and Managing Director of the D²Drumline, is on the Board of Directors for Melbourne Youth Music, regularly performs and teaches around Australia, and is an international artist for a number of drum and percussion brands.

Leigh Sweetland
National Logistics Manager
Leigh Sweetland brings a diverse range of experience to his role as National Logistics Manager at assemblyNOW. With a background in sales and store management at Dicksmith, followed by an area manager position, Leigh developed strong customer service and management skills. He then transitioned to warehouse management as 2IC at Hallum Truck Centre before joining assemblyNOW in 2019. Starting in the warehouse, Leigh quickly progressed to scheduling and logistics roles, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of business operations to excel in these positions. His unique blend of skills enables him to provide exceptional support to our retail partners.
Outside of work, Leigh maintains an active lifestyle, hitting the gym at 4 am, playing football for Keyborough Football Club, and boasting a 15-year competitive pool career.

Tammie Lack
Administration Manager
With over 16 years of experience in logistics and administration Tammie joined assemblyNOW in 2018. Her expertise lies in customer service, staff training, and process management with a strong focus on attention to detail. Tammie’s commitment to honesty and transparency fosters clear communication and trust, vital for building strong relationships with both her staff and assemblyNOW’s clients.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys playing netball, traveling, and spending quality time with her family. Tammie’s dedication to both her work and personal interests reflects her well-rounded character and strong work ethic, making her a valuable asset to the assemblyNOW team.
